Laurie and Gretchen, What fun to get two comments in a row from women who are proud of their daughters — as well you should be. Everyone is commenting on the lovely photos, adn those are just a few that Kaitlin rushed to me Sunday night to post with the blog entry — wait until she sends the rest.
And isn’t it cool how beautiful we all look when we’re happy?

Loved the party and wished we could have stayed longer before heading off to Clara’s concert. What a cute picture of her, with friend Lydia on your blog! The girls enjoyed it too. You may think I’m just being a proud mom, but I must say the pictures are wonderful, and you looked truly beautiful. The event was not only in an amazing home with a breath-taking view, it was full of warmth and love. Your family, friends, and fans were so proud of you (and Hanni’s) creation. And, by the way, my order arrived yesterday!

Thanks, Patricia and Cheryl. It truly was a joyful party. Ulrich Sandmeyer left a message on my machine today — he was manning the store yesterday while Ellen was with us at the party selling books. “I heard you had a lovefest yesterday,” he said. He couldn’t have said it better! He ordered more books already, They will have a number of new ones in tomorrow and hope to have a lot more by the end of the week — check out the store, it’s as wonderful as the owners are, and it’s located on the west side of Dearborn between Harrison and Polk.
And you are both right, Patricia and Cheryl — Pat and Carol’s place was a LOVELY setting for a book launch party. I am still on Cloud Nine.

Pat and Carol have a beautiful place. It was a wonderful setting to kick off Beth’s lastest publication, “Hanni and Beth: Safe and Sound”. Mom and I enjoyed meeting so many of Beth’s friends from her work, her classes, her book club, and people she actually just met on the corner in her neighborhood. YOU GO GIRL! Cannot tell you how cool it was to see you all in your power yesterday at the book signing. Loved the event Beth. It was a pleasure to celebrate your publication in such a beautiful location. Good news that your book sold-out at the event.
